Denial of a petition for writ of habeas corpus challenging convictions for, inter alia, aggravated murder and his sentence of death is affirmed in part as to the denial of relief on the convictions, but reversed in part as to the sentence as petitioner was denied the effective assistance of counsel during the mitigation phase of his sentencing
